How to choose the right Hair and Makeup look for your Venue

Everything should have a common thread and your venue plays a big part on deciding your look for the day but there are other factors to consider.

There are so many different styles of bridal hair and makeup, they range from Romantic, Classic, Bohemian, Greek, English Rose, Vintage, Glamorous… the list is endless! So, how do you decide what look to go for?

•The first and most important thing to consider is your personal style, what defines you and how you want to represent yourself.

•Second is your dress. Even though you have an idea of what you want to look like on your wedding day you just may fall in love with a dress that you never thought you'd go for. This could change everything and you'd have to adjust the desired look. Veils and other hair accessories contribute to the overall look as well.

•In most cased you'd have selected your venue before you are ready to search for your dress and before you have decided on your overall look. So, let the venue make things easier for you, let it inspire you. It will give you ideas of the type of look you want. If you're getting married in the city for example you can chose to go for Unique, Glamorous or Quirky style. A barn would lend itself to more of an English Rose, Rustic or Earthy inspiration.

The most important thing to do is to research!!! Look through magazines, internet images, Pinterest, etc. and start a collection of things that spark your imagination.
